How to edit your PDF

Select a PDF, choose a tool and make your changes on the page. Use Undo to step back, then download a new copy when you're done.

Can I change the original text?

Supported simple text can be changed directly while keeping its font, size and color. Complex fonts and layouts use visual replacement, with your confirmation. Chinese additions and replacements use Noto Sans SC; original Chinese fonts are not preserved. OCR and paragraph reflow are not included.

Does covering an area remove the content?

No. Covering and visual replacement hide content visually. The original text or image can still be recovered. Do not use these tools for secure redaction.

Are my files uploaded?

No. Your files are processed in this browser. PDF files can be up to 25 MB and 200 pages. Images can be PNG or JPEG, up to 10 MB. Download your work before closing this tab.

What about protected or signed PDFs?

Password-protected PDFs are not supported. Editing invalidates existing digital signatures. Keep your original and check the downloaded document.
